Junior Cypress Arena is a rodeo arena located on the Big Cypress Seminole Indian reservation. Built in 1994, it was originally fitted with a total of 79 1,140 watt Metal Halide fixtures. These older fixtures lacked sufficient lighting for the venue, were expensive to operate and did not meet the rodeo association’s lighting standards.

“We were very happy to be able to bring the rodeo arena back to a lighting system that meets the rodeo association’s standards and replaced fixtures that were aged and needed replacement. We were very pleased to be able to help our client accomplish this lighting project for the arena,” said Steve DeLashmutt, President of Energy Savers International Incorporated.

LED Highbay Conversion

Like many warehouses that have been expanded and modified over time, the Provident Music Distribution building was lit with a mix of older lighting technologies such as Metal Halide and T8 and T12 linear fluorescents. In addition to being inefficient and requiring signifigant maintenance, these older fixtures lacked any type of dimming or motion control capability.

“By making the change from our existing metal halide lighting to LED, we were able to re-lease our building as soon as the existing tenant moved out and received a $.15/sf premium on the lease rate.” says Randy Wolcott, President - Northstar Real Estate Advisors.
